The Seventh-Day Sabbath is, after all, one of the Ten Commandments. God never changed which day was the Sabbath. He never declared the fourth Commandment to be abolished. The same holds true for Jesus Christ, the Lord of the Sabbath (Matthew 12:8; Mark 2:28; Luke 6:5), and the original apostles. The same also holds true for the scholarly Apostle Paul. If Paul was the author of the Epistle to the Hebrews, as many believe, then it was he who reminded the Hebrew Christians that the Sabbath day remains, along with the Christian's obligation to observe the Sabbath day (Hebrews 4:9).
