I imagined what a conversation with God might be like today.
I saw God today and He wasnít happy. "Why are all My sheep acting like baby lambs?", He asked. "I thought they were mature and ready for meat, but they still require milk.
"I thought they knew love -- true brotherly love -- but no, they fight and squabble amongst themselves like spoiled children who want to know who Daddy loves the best.
"They say they want My Kingdom to come, but how can I send Jesus Christ now -- Who is there to help them? If they canít get along now, how will they get along and work together in My New World?
"Wonít they ever learn?"
Let us remember and live by these words of God:
Romans 13:10: "Love worketh no ill to his neighbor: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law." So if we want to live the law to its fullest, we must love.
Romans 14:13: "Let us not therefore judge one another any more: but judge this rather, that no man put a stumblingblock or an occasion to fall in his brotherís way."
1 John 4:7: "Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God." To be a child of God and to know God, we must love.
We must love everyone, even our enemies! Luke 6:27: "But I say unto you which hear, Love your enemies, do good to them which hate you."
Let us therefore go boldly before the Grace of God and ask forgiveness for our sins; for speaking about others behind their backs, for judging and condemning others, for not loving. Let us awake again from our slumber and learn Godís way of LOVE. Then we can earnestly pray, "Thy Kingdom come," and God will say, "They learned!"
